Anyway, I made tomato sauce, because I was feeling rather lazy yesterday. Well, not that lazy because I made focaccia as well. But focaccia is easy, so whatever. I roughly followed Bittman's Quick Vegetable & Tomato sauce on p 503-4.
I chopped an onion, a red & a green bell pepper, and a zucchini, sauteed those for a while. They got all watery so it took longer than it should've. But then I tossed in two cans of diced tomatoes and let sit.... After the bread was done, I tossed a couple spoonfuls of sauce onto a bread and had some salad, and it was a meal!
