Twas the weekend before finals and all through the hall,
Stress was-a brewing and consuming us all.
Notes were strewn by the textbooks with care,
In hopes that a passing grade would soon be there.
The residents were all cooped up in their rooms,
While visions of the holidays could not come too soon!
With Bittman in his binding and I with my pack,
We decided to go make them a snack.
Now Butter, now Eggs, now Sugar, now Mixin'!
Add Ginger, add Flour, Molasses and Cinnamon!
To the oven you go, for 10 minutes you'll stay,
Filling the room with the scent of Christmas day!
I sprang to the lobby and gave out a call,
And soon the cookies were gone, gone one and all.
So I proudly exclaimed as they went on their way,
MERRY FINALS WEEK TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD DAY!
**Good Luck with finals everyone!**
Warm wishes and Tasty Dishes,
